1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the MovementQuest platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. MovementQuest reserves the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
2. Medical Disclaimer
MovementQuest is designed to support and complement your physiotherapy journey, but it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the guidance of your physiotherapist, doctor, or other qualified health professional with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or recovery plan. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or experienced through this app. If you are in pain or experiencing an emergency, stop using the app and contact a healthcare professional immediately.
3. User Accounts & Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to update it as necessary. You must be at least 18 years old to use MovementQuest independently; minors may only use the Service under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or healthcare professional. You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt unauthorised access, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
MovementQuest offers a Free plan and a Premium plan billed monthly in South African Rand (ZAR). Payments are processed securely through our payment provider. You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time; you will retain Premium access until the end of the current billing period. MovementQuest reserves the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy and applicable South African consumer protection legislation.
5. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MovementQuest and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
